Marco A. Ortiz

Hello, my name is Marco A. Ortiz and I serve on campus as the Director of THINK TANK, the University of Arizona’s centralized academic support center. I have worked in academic support since 2007, serving in different roles such as math and physics tutor, math and science specialist, and director roles. My educational background consists of a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Arizona, an MBA from ASU’s W. P. Carey School of Business, and a Masters in Higher Education. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Higher Education. I am an advocate of lifelong learning and the development of students, our peer educators, and our professional staff. My goal is for our department to provide exceptional academic support services and programs for students.
