Kornelia Tancheva

Kornelia Tancheva is the Hillman University Librarian and Director of the University Library System at the University of Pittsburgh, a position she has held since May 2017. Prior to that, she worked in progressively more responsible positions at the Cornell University Library, from instruction coordinator to a director of public services departments, director of libraries and ultimately, Associate University Librarian for Research and Learning Services. Her research interests are in assessment, user-centered design of services, human-computer interaction, as well as drama and literature. She holds a PhD in drama from Cornell University and an MLS from Syracuse University.
