Charlotte Priddle

Charlotte Priddle is the Director of Special Collections at New York University, providing leadership and strategic vision for this newly-created department that combines three previously separate repositories at NYU: the Fales Library & Special Collections, the Tamiment Library & Robert F. Wagner Labor Archives, and the New York University Archives. Prior to this role, she was the Librarian for Printed Books in the Fales Library, and maintains curatorial oversight for their print collections. She holds a BA and MA from the University of Sussex, UK, and an MLIS from Rutgers University. A faculty member of Rare Book School, she has also co-taught book history in the English Department at NYU. She has published on a variety of topics in journals including College & Research Libraries; RBM: A Journal of Rare Books, Manuscripts and Cultural Heritage; and Libraries: Culture, History and Society, among others.
